The rooms were clean and provided the necessary amenities for a short stay. The location, while slightly out of town, was convenient with a supermarket within walking distance and ample parking available.However, there were a few minor issues that impacted the overall experience. The air conditioning in the room was ineffective, leading to discomfort during the night due to the rising temperatures. The presence of road traffic noise with the window open made it challenging to get a restful night's sleep. The evening meal was satisfactory, albeit with a limited menu selection. The hotel's cleanliness and the swift response regarding a forgotten item post-checkout were commendable.In summary, Mercure offers a reasonable option for those looking for a budget-friendly stay with good service, albeit with some room for improvement in terms of room amenities and noise insulation.
